The apartment, which is privately owned and individually furnished, has sensational views. It is wonderfully light, with a large, airy open-plan living/dining/kitchen and glazed doors to a balcony. The bedrooms, at the rear, have lovely bath/shower-rooms.
Apartment 12 is a first floor apartment in the centre with stunning views to south and west and glass doors opening onto the balcony with a table, chairs and sun lounger. It is just a short walk through the club terrace from Bigbury-on-Sea's superb sandy beach.
The bright, stylish open-plan living space features oak flooring, sofas on which to relax and watch the smart TV, there is a dining area and a modern kitchen area. In the rear of the apartment you'll find the comfortable, en-suite bedrooms. The apartment has simple access - it's a short walk from a private dedicated parking space and a few steps down from the car park to the lift. You enter on floor 2, so down the stairs or use the lift to the first floor.
With the beach so handy and the leisure centre and restaurant/bar to enjoy, this is an ideal coastal holiday location.
Within the same building are excellent leisure facilities and a restaurant. The views over the sea to the south and west, and at low tide of a vast expanse of smooth washed yellow sand reaching to Burgh Island, are outstanding. The island's great pub, The Pilchard, is good fun to visit (long-legged sea tractor at high-tide).
The leisure facilities are free for guests to use and open from 10am every day (except Christmas Day), this includes a fine indoor swimming pool (40' x 20' x 4'6"), spa-pool, well-equipped gym (treadmill, steps, cycles, Concept II Rower and other instruments of torture) and sauna (no children under 14 in gym). There are changing rooms, a shower and disabled loo. The sauna has had a major revamp and is now open.
You get a free membership of the Club for the duration of your stay.
The Club restaurant/smart bar is open 10am to 8pm during the High Season.

Reservations are recommended (for all other times of the year, please contact the Leisure Centre for the opening times), they serve great food throughout the day, with a popular menu which varies daily and themed evenings. You can also order meals to take to your apartment. There is a comfy lounging area with sofas and WiFi, and the sunny outdoor terrace faces the sea and Burgh Island.
The Club has a carefully selected wine list, beers and wide range of soft drinks, tea and coffee.

- Off road parking for one car in a reserved parking space - ours is marked Apt 12, and in front of you to the left as you enter the car park. Second cars should be parked in a marked visitor space
- There is a short flight of steps down to the rear of the block from the private gated carpark, you enter on level two and either walk down the stairs or use the lift to level one. The apartment is on the first floor and is all on one level.
