It sounds trite but the views from the balcony are ever changing, I never tire of the hypnotic tides coming from either side of the island and criss-crossing as they meet.
Then you have people walking dogs, holiday makers making sandcastles, men fishing, the traffic to and from the island on 4x4s or the sea-tractor. To add to the excitement one will get bogged down in stand for straying onto soft sand and will need rescuing!
There are all manner of water sports from total newbies learning to surf to the experienced kite surfers who fly around. The round the island swimming race is fascinating.
At the end of the day the sunsets can be absolutely glorious, combined with an Aperol, Hugo or glass of wine nothing is better!
